We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.
Last week we were delighted to host two interns in Chambers, Maria as part of the 10000 Black Interns initiative and Hannah who joined us after securing a place on the Bar Placement Scheme.
Both Maria and Hannah spent a busy week shadowing barristers from across our specialist groups to gain a full insight into what life at the Bar truly entails and we thank them both for their enthusiasm and dedication throughout their time with us.
We are honoured to be in a position to be able to play our part in both of these schemes with the firm aim of inspiring those who aspire to commence a career as a barrister.
10000 Black Interns is aiming to transform the horizons and prospects of young black people in the United Kingdom by offering paid work across a wide range of industries, as well as world-class training and development.

The Bar Placement Scheme allows eligible students to spend up to four days shadowing barristers in chambers and in court as well as receiving advocacy training from the Inns of Court College of Advocacy. To deliver the scheme, the Bar Council works with Pathways to Law and the Social Mobility Foundation with places awarded based on; quality of application, demonstrated commitment to and interest in a career as a barrister and fulfilment of social mobility criteria.
