Welcome from the Head of the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Group

We have a team of dedicated personal injury practitioners, providing a personalised service tailored to the needs of the solicitor and lay client, whether Claimant or Defendant.

The team consists of around 25 barristers and our clerks really take pride in knowing the individual barristers and their practices, and using this knowledge to help you choose the right barrister for the case.

With the Jackson reforms heralding a more uncompromising approach by the Courts to litigation in general, and to attempts to correct and amend, we believe that getting statements of case and other Court documents right first time has never been more important, and we can provide a high standard of drafting and advice, to match our reputation for advocacy.  We are also very happy to be involved at the early stages of cost budgeting to ensure a case can be run on a proper and cost effective basis.

We are willing to undertake appropriate cases on a CFA, and will in general use the current APIL/PIBA agreement. We have always been happy to be instructed in cases far beyond our Midlands base, and we anticipate that the opening of our office in Leeds will further enhance our reputation and presence across the country.
