Introduction

Heledd joined St Philips in August 2007 having undertaken pupillage and tenancy at 1 Stanley Place Chambers (formerly Sedan House) in Chester. She is a specialist family law practitioner and is experienced in conducting hearings in the High Court, County Court and Family Proceedings Court. Her practice also includes financial and property disputes in marriage and cohabitation together with proceedings under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

Public Law Care and Adoption

Heledd is experienced in representing parents, local authorities and children in care and adoption proceedings. She has been instructed in complex cases of child abuse, neglect and non-accidental injury. She has represented a significant number of parents with mental health difficulties, in particular learning disabilities. She has previously acted for the Official Solicitor. Heledd is converse in conducting hearings in the High Court, County Court and Family Proceedings Court.
